To a certain degree, we are afraid of the unknown. Fear has become a reason for doubts and distrust. It creates illusions in our mind that stop us from doing what we want, from going places.
In many ways, traveling can break the cycle of fear. Replacing fear with curiosity and having an open mind can lead to many wonderful and positive discoveries just like Ibn Battuta, a curious young man who traveled the world for several years was eager to learn more about the world.
At the end of his journey, Ibn Battuta shared many inspiring stories and has contributed immensely in the area of geography.
Tha aim of the Conference
The event intends to continue the legacy of Ibn Battuta and celebrate his contributions as well other great world travelers in our history.
