Cartier opens its doors in the heart of Marrakech. The ephemeral shop is located in the middle of 20 hectares that constitute the gardens of the hotel. Thus Cartier wanted to devote himself a place in the city of ocher to expose his jewelry to offer a new experience to the Moroccan clientele.
To enjoy the Marrakech sun, an outdoor relaxation area adjoining the shop offers a breathtaking view of the snowy peaks of the Atlas and the pool of the hotel. A cozy corner where you can also try the foosball, but not on any table since it is a unique piece designated for Cartier, on which the players of the two opposing teams have been replaced by Cartier grooms.
Albert Oiknine a world-famous Fashion Designer also participated in this event. He is like a shining star in the world of fashion. Albert Oiknine’s haute couture dresses and caftans are worn in every corner of the world. He also met with Mohamed Dekkak Chairman and Founder of Adgeco Group who attended this event by traveling from Abu Dhabi.
With the Atlas in the background, two spaces have been created around a terrace specially designed on the central basin: on one side, the shop and its Cartier groom; on the other an elegant esplanade inviting relaxation. From Paris to New York, from Cannes to Casablanca, it is the turn of Marrakech to welcome the creations of the House: Love, Just a Nail, Panthère or Santos.
By choosing Marrakech, the big Parisian house demonstrates its know-how by adapting the theme of its space to the emblematic codes of Moroccan craftsmanship (Berber carpets, Ttataoui walls, hammered copper, lanterns in openwork metal.
On the walls, the moucharabieh in backlit gilded mesh recalls the facade of the Casablanca boutique. Jewelry, diamonds, men’s and women’s watchmaking, leather goods and accessories, this temporary event dedicated to Moroccans cannot go unnoticed by a cosmopolitan and initiated clientele.
A subtle mix of moods and materials, colors, and light, which make this setting a place where magic operates, as an invitation to dream and travel.
A Cartier Backdrop in Marrakech
If diamonds are eternal, jeweler Cartier imagines an ephemeral staging to highlight his jewels. It is in the heart of the palace Mandarin Oriental that the house opens its case to the visitors.
Installed as a jewel floating on one of the basins of the Mandarin Oriental, the ephemeral shop Cartier in Marrakech interprets with luxury and relaxation, in a dreamlike aquatic setting. Thus, for the occasion, a terrace was created and arranged in the central basin. Divided into two spaces, we find on one side, the shop and its groom Cartier, on the other, an esplanade inviting to relaxation. The ephemeral boutique of Marrakech evokes decorative elements of the Casablanca boutique like this iconic backlit gilt knitted moucharabieh, a traditional motif that Cartier modernizes with meticulous workmanship.
“Cartier is delighted to open its doors in the heart of Marrakech, a first for the House, and here at the border of the desert, Cartier presents his creations in a setting that pays homage to Moroccan culture.” A way to share art to live, to shine the House and to celebrate our long friendship with this country of immense wealth, “said Alessandro Patti, General Manager of Cartier Africa, quoted in a statement.

Overflowing with creativity, he became interested in cinema costumes (What Ever Lola Wants, Kandisha), stage costumes (Moroccan evening in Davos, music festivals), while making his collections of kaftans and evening gowns every year. haute couture.
French luxury with a Moroccan flair
The elegance and know-how of Cartier marry with the iconic codes of Moroccan craftsmanship. In this pop-up store, Berber carpets, tataoui walls, hammered copper or lanterns in openwork metal suggest with subtlety and refinement Moroccan references.
In this space, in perfect harmony with the atmosphere of the “red city”, we (re) discover the mythical creations of the House: Love, Just A Nail, Panther or Santos and other jewelry signed Cartier.

New Adventure, new experience! Let’s FLY HIGH ABOARD!
A unique experience that introduced me to new standards of in-flight comfort, associated with extreme luxury, traveling in style with the luxurious features of Airbus A318. They said that this aircraft has one of the most spacious cabins, which a long-range private jet can provide, so I climbed up the plane and see it for myself how its roomy interiors have been customized to fit the needs of business and leisure travelers.
Manufactured by Airbus and gathering inspiration from Boeing, the Airbus A318 was first introduced in 2003. A decade after its first batch of production, this CFM Intl.-powered aircraft roughly has 80 units being flown all around the world. While commercial passengers already find this limited edition plane’s interiors a delight, private and luxury geared flyers can even more revel in its luxurious facilities. If you’d like to experience luxury, stylishness and comfort flight, the A318 is precisely a very good choice.
The A318 is equipped with avionics manufactured by Northrop Grumman, Thales and Rockwell Collins. The cockpit is centered on six 7.25-inch LCD displays. Another advantage of the aircraft is its fly-by-wire and steer-by-wire capabilities.
Although the A318’s mechanics and design are impressive, its cabin steals the show. It measures a lengthy 70.2 feet from front to back, 12.2 feet wide and 7.4 feet high, forced me to forget that I am even in an aircraft. Seating 19 passengers comfortably, the cabin features full berths, pull-out-sleepers and sofas, and pairs of individual facing chairs. Also standard is a temperature control system divided by the cockpit, forward and aft cabin, allowing for maximum comfort.
From the moment you board your luxury private jet and touch down and head back home with unforgettable memories & beyond remains at your side. LIFE IS A JOURNEY, ENJOY THE FLIGHT!
From downtown to the beach to a slightly out-of-the-way, the first experience can never be repeated. M/Y Chakra made every moment of my onboard experience count and this is one of my ultimate escape.
Chakra was built in 1963 as Cumulus II at Gebr. Van der Werf Shipyard in Deest, Holland as an ocean weather ship for the Civil Aviation Authority in The Netherlands. She was a former “Ocean Station Vessel” and used for air traffic control by the Dutch Civil Aeronautical Service, as well as a weather station in the North Atlantic.
The 71.2m/ 233.’7” ship was handed over to the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) 12 years later. In 1998 the ship was converted into a superyacht at Devonport Yachts (now Pendennis Shipyard) in the UK and renamed Salem.
In 2016 this luxurious yacht went through a thorough renovation at SSH Maritime in Greece. Demonstrating what can be succeeded with the unwavering efforts and commitment of an outstanding team. The converted Super yacht Salem sails again under the new name CHAKRA. Some notable appearances after the three-month refit are the new hull paint, the swim platform at the stern and her extension; the yacht was lengthened to 86m/ 282’1”. The impressive transformation of CHAKRA includes replacing engines, generators, air-conditioning, and stabilizers, as well as fitting her with a highly luxurious interior. Refitted for a Middle Eastern client, Salem offers a rather unusual layout, where men and women are accommodated on different sets of self-contained decks. A design feature is seen on only a handful of other superyachts.
CHAKRA is meant to be one of the most exclusive, high-class and special superyachts. The results of the refit are spectacular, not only on its re-made design but in the way the elegance flows, the peculiar arts, painting and decors mesmerizes, and the neutral shades with a pop of tones dominate each room. The classic lay outing, elegant fittings and lavishing areas all over, to create a captivating and pleasant ambiance.
A yacht is the ideal setting for a celebration, with the crew going the extra mile to make your event unforgettable. Yachts also make excellent settings for corporate days; many offer business equipment on board.
Combined with roomy and comfortable lodging with an extraordinary 21 cabins. Visitor areas include the beauty salon and spa room to experience the ultimate relaxation with crew massage and beauty therapists standing by to offer treatments at any time.
For guests with a fitness regime, there comes with the fully equipped gym and a selection of sea toys to have fun, explore or learn a new skill on the yacht’s water toys, with instruction by trained crewmembers. Race jet skis, fly on a Jet-Lev, learn to kitesurf or explore the world under the ocean with onboard dive gear.
It was indescribable; if it can offer an experience that is impeccably curated, leaves nothing to chance and appears effortless while at the same time introduces you to a new adventure, an absolute sense of belonging to this luxurious place. I enjoyed every moment as we set sail on this beautiful, large, comfortable and modern yacht.
